I also have to have an instance of the Desktop Manager running while connecting through my Blackberry as a modem...</p><p>You may also want to verify when you go to connect to the internet that the modem is selected. In the Device Manager, Standard Modem is listed and responds with a favorable test when diagnostics is run but when I attempt to set up a dial'up connection, Windows 7 reports that there are no modems available.  Any ideas?
